We believe that church planting is a normal and natural part of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Christians will not fulfill Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations” as stated in Matthew 28:18-20 without creating a living, growing, dynamic organism that is comprised of believers.
BMI has approached church planting by using five fundamental principles in the church planting cycle: 1) prayer to build an effective team; 2) evangelism; 3) discipleship; 4) training and releasing of leaders; 5) watch care when the church planter periodically mentors the new leadership.
